ethernews.org is an automated news aggregator for the Ethereum ecosystem. Headlines link to their original publishers. We host no articles of our own. Coverage is drawn from a whitelist of sources and organized with the help of automated tools, with light human curation.
Sponsored content
Slots labeled “Sponsored” and listings under Sponsored Podcasts are paid placements. They are always visually marked and never influence which news stories appear or how they are ranked.
Cookies and analytics
Two things count readers. Vercel Web Analytics counts page views for everyone in aggregate, with no cookies and no personal data, so we can see that the site is being read without knowing who is reading. Google Analytics, which sets cookies and gives more detail, runs only if you accept the analytics banner. If you decline, Google Analytics does not run and no cookies are set. Clicks on story links are counted in aggregate, with nothing about who clicked.
The only personal information we hold is the email address you give us to subscribe or to submit a story. It is used for that and nothing else. There are no accounts and no advertising networks.
Podcast and video players load only when you press play on an episode. A YouTube video then loads from YouTube's cookieless embed domain, and audio streams from the show's own host. A small amount of local storage is used for your own preferences (theme, clock format, link behavior), which never leaves your browser.
